I am building an F-85 Club Coupe as what should have been a W-31. It is a bare-bones car with maximum muscle. 330/320 with W-31 valvetrain and 2.00 intake valves. It has a Muncie M-21 and a TO code 3.91 axle. I am adding a repro W-30 OAI kit from Dr. Olds, and will install the battery in the trunk. The car is a radio, heater and carpet delete. Vinyl and cloth seats with vinyl floor covering. The only cloth interior color for the Club Coupe was blue, so I am painting it Crystal Blue with White painted top. I am using a convertible (boxed) frame for strength. Boxed rear control arms with 442 sway bars front and rear. The only creature comfort is power steering and tinted windshield.

So far, the frame is sandblasted and painted, engine is built, transmission is built, rear end is built, interior door panels are being made by SMS (ouch), and the NOS seat fabric arrived last week so it can go to upholstery shop. All of the chrome and stainless is done. I sent the gauges to a restoration shop in SC for re-build/calibration. Dr. Olds will have my OAI kit next month. As soon as I can get the chassis assembled, I will park it and start on paint and body.
